This was fun i did it while i was on the phone, i don't really know what else to say about it. its kind of one of those things where either you get me or you don't. the paper is from google and i "computered" it.

This one will be up at norml clothing in ottawa for roughly the next month. 12"x12" acrylic on canvas "stuck". beASTON 2008
this guy will be joining his friend above there at noml. 18"x24" acrylic on canvas "this fair maid gives me a nosebleed".

day-job-work has taken alot of the jam out of my doughnut if you know what i mean. these two plus a few more little watercolours are the only ones ive done recently, well theres one more little thing that i'll post soon. but ive had a heck of a time trying to get some work done.

three old ladies are sitting on a bench in the park. suddenly, a man in a long trenchcoat and dark glasses runs in front of them and tears open his jacket. two of the old ladies have a stroke. the third one wouldn't touch it.

i'm in the kind of mood today where i want to se someone i don't like poop their pants in front of someone they look up to. hahahahha.their idol, or someone they have a crush on. poopy pants broken hearts, and enough tears to drown a cute kitten.

A new shot of "Plate O' Shrimp" better than that last one that i copied from facebook eh?

"A lot of people don't realize what's really goin' on. They view life as a bunch of unconnected incidents and things. They don't realize that there's this like lattice of coincidence that lays on top of everything. I'll give you an example. Show you what I mean. Suppose you're thinkin' about a plate of shrimp. Suddenly somebody will say like "Plate" or "Shrimp" or "Plate of shrimp" out of the blue no explanation. No point lookin' for one either. It's all part of the cosmic unconsciousness.
...I think a lot about this kind of stuff. Do my best thinkin' on the bus. That's howcome I dont drive, see?
... I don't wanna know how. I don't wanna learn. The more you drive... the less intelligent you are."

Outfit

This is a costume I made {decorated I guess.} Trying to bring my artwork to life a little more. Now I can become my characters. Jess modeled for me as well {She looks so fucking bad ass.}

Done with acrylic and fabric medium on the work suit. The eyepatch is made from pleather and was embellished with embroidery floss.

This was one of the most fun projects I've done. I want to do more. Next will be a pair of painter's pants.

I'll be wearing this thing at the Them.ca 10 year anniversary show in toronto.
Be back with more details on that later.

There will also be a painting that acompnies this peice I'll upload pictures later on also.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These two paintings are available at
Seth Carmichael Gallery { www.sethcarmichael.com } in Los Angeles.

Good prices with alot of love put into them. These are the first peices of mine ever to make it across the border.

space pirate

Sometimes I think of all the places I don't wanna go
Then I think of all the things I never wanna do
Think of all the people I never wanna meet
Close my eyes I go to sleep

DUUUUH . . .

From a photo of the Puppy Love show at Petite Mort. Just something for fun, I had't done any work in a while. This was a good way to get thinking about a painting i have to do soon. It might not be too much like this when it's done but i got to laugh alot. i love silly faces.

people have more fun than anybody

i am terrible at having a blog. i never find the time to post. here is a new peice i did on the computer.

the characters were done with ink and the colours were added using the computer.

i'm trying hard to add more colour to my work i felt like a had a real boring dull pallette before and im trying my best to break away from that and try new colours out, stop being so safe , you know?

the title is taken from a james thurber book of the same name. my dad loves short stories like that or saki or o henry , old hurmor writers, those guys are hillarious. so we always had those books around the house, the title doesnt event really make sense, thats the kind of stuff i like.

to see some very amazing illustration work check out the book the 13 clocks also written by james thurber.
